Meningitis disease outbreak – Important information

Clayton Brook Surgery is following national advice which is, no mass Men B vaccinations are being considered.

We are not offering Men B vaccines to anyone, where it is not an essential vaccination pathway for a specific cohort of patients, that is childhood vaccinations.

The protection offered by a vaccine is strain-specific and is not part of current outbreak control strategy.
